About The Textile Wall Company
The Textile Wall Company was founded by Hepzabeth Evans after returning home to the Cotswolds in 2019 after almost a decade of working with furniture, fabric and wall upholstery in Australia and New Zealand.
Hepzabeth has over 13 years experience in the design industry, studying Furniture Conservation and Restoration at New Buckinghamshire University. Moving to Sydney in 2010, she specialised in Wall Upholstery working for Sydneys most renowned Interior Designers along the iconic harbour front and in some of Australias prime residential and commercial areas. Since moving back to the UK she has worked in some of the countries most affluent areas, clients including Koko in Camden, The Langham Hotel and Tramp Members Club.

creating beautiful spaces begins with a love for fabrics, always on my mothers sewing machine as a child. I was heavily influenced by the arts and crafts movement which lead me on a path to study Furniture Restoration & Decorative Arts at university specialising in Wall Upholstery. Thoroughly dedicated to creating a high standard of finish and developing long lasting relationships with my clients. “What can I say, Hepzabeth it literally Superwoman! She single-handedly covered the whole ceiling, which is 6m off the ground at the pitch and 22m long by 8m in width, in beautifully heavy linen. Everyone on site was in awe of how on earth she managed it! But she did and her attention to detail and workmanship is second to none.
We wanted a fabric ceiling to help with the acoustics and sound proofing of the room (the fabric covers some special acoustic boarding). This is not only a great acoustic solution but also looks beautiful, giving a very large room a sense of coziness and warmth. We wouldn’t have achieved this using any other finish.
Hepzabeth is also a pleasure to work with, and super professional. She makes sure that all the details of the project are considered, coming for site visits before starting to ensure all is in place and coordinating excellently with the build team.

“I was keen to understand the alchemy of stretch fabric walling. Having seen some lovely work on social media and in magazines, I set about finding an expert. I discovered Hepzabeth on Instagram and was impressed by her helpful videos showing the process. We spoke on the phone and after some helpful explanations, I decided I would like to proceed.
