A small bedroom chair pictured here in Trilogie Antiques shop window was in need of a recover and some improvements made to the upholstery underneath. Recovered in Soane ‘Pineapple Frond’ a hand printed onto a linen base cloth in the colour way Indigo. Delicately refluted, pattern matched and piped, this small project was a delight to transform.
The Textile Wall Company works with the UKs top Interior Designers and Fabric Houses specialising in wall upholstery, a unique skill where fabric is stitched and applied over a padded wall. Wall upholstery delivers a luxurious finish as an alternative to wall paper or paint.
TRADITIONAL
With traditional wall upholstery, the fabric is stapled and a custom trim is used to cover the staples. There are varied trim choices from a flat trim made of fabric, a double or single welt, a gimp or tape trim, a custom wood filet and more.
